Ray Aloy and Lauren Michelle have a successful tattoo studio in Roanoke, Virginia, but after a visit to the North Carolina coast, they realized adding a second studio was in their future.
Evolution Tattoo, located on Highway 17 in Holly Ridge across from Smoky Tonys Restaurant, opened this January. With expectations of opening this past fall, Ray Aloy and Lauren Michelle are finally thrilled to be open and in business.
Ray, a tattoo artist with over 15 years of experience and who specializes in black and grey work, has recently acquired a taste for boating and fishing, making the Topsail area perfect for his new passion.
Lauren, whose wonderful and creative art and sculptures cover the walls in the waiting area, has been doing tattoos for about 3 years.
In addition to tattoo work, Ray and Lauren are both artists that work with paint, charcoal, air brush and welding.
Evolution Tattoo is open every day, except Wednesday from Noon until 8pm.
