After an extensive investigation, the Surf City Police Department has executed a search warrant at Island Smoke, a business located at 332 N New River Drive Surf City NC, 28445.
During the search, law enforcement officers seized a significant quantity of illegal items from the business. The investigation had revealed that Island Smoke was involved in the sale of narcotics, including products being sold to underage individuals. “This operation is a testament to the importance of community involvement in keeping Surf City safe,” said Phillip Voorhees, Chief of Police for Surf City. “We take these complaints very seriously and will continue to act swiftly to ensure that businesses in our community are operating within the law, especially when it comes to protecting our youth from illegal narcotic sales.”
